I’m Virginia “Gin” Mathers, a graphic designer and art director with more than 25 years of experience in book design, editorial systems, identity design, and print production.
I’ve spent my career creating books, publications, logos, campaigns, and environmental graphics. I love the challenge of shaping information into something people want to read, keep, and remember.
My background is in advertising, but my work has always been rooted in typography, storytelling, and thoughtful details. I’m especially drawn to long-form editorial projects, visual systems, and print pieces that feel good in your hands.
Outside of client work, I’m usually noticing old signs, collecting paper for bookbinding projects, or pointing out fonts in the wild to whoever happens to be nearby.
